I have the max. loan that the government gives out (stafford loans and such) but I am looking for a loan to cover living expenses for this year until I graduate. I have a baby and am working full time so I don’t have the time to pick up a second job but my credit rating is poor because of a few struggling months while I was on maternity leave. Does anyone know of a lender or company that is open to lending to those who have poor credit history but a well paying job? I am willing to pay a high rate because i understand my credit rating does not make my application appealing for lenders

The credit check is done online, when you pay for the phone and plan? Or is this a way for people with poor credit history to get away from paying 0 deposit, if getting a new contract with Verizon in store?

I’m only 21 and have a bit of bad debt and a mild history of non-payment (got into some legal trouble). This is a roughly 0k property on 5 acres with three buildings and I can buy it for 0k. Will this help to negate a poor credit history?

I’m paying off all outstanding debts (under k) and when I talk to a loan officer, I intend to have k cash in hand, or 10% of the principal. I’m also 1099′d and don’t have a strong way to demonstrate my income history other than bank statements showing deposits. Do you think I’ll be able to get the loan?

EDIT: This is a home currently owned by my grandmother that I grew up in, hence the low price. She has plenty of assets and an additional 0k would be more than enough to last the rest of her life.

I have 00+ in bills, and would like to consolidate them into one low payment, so my debt is easier to keep track of, and so I am not being killed with interest and late fees. I have a poor credit history, and a substantial consigned student debt that has blocked me from getting assistance from one agency — my work’s union. I’d really like to get my personal debt under control without a cosigner, are there any reputable sites where I can look into that, or that would approve me with reasonable rates?

I am going to be starting university in september and I need to get a loan to pay for two expensive essential items (computer and camera). I want to borrow £1500 over 5years and I can afford to pay back £30 pcm which should cover interest rates as well.
Unfortunatly I rent my accomidation and I have a poor credit history. I am employed. I have looked at all this years expected income and I can afford to pay the loan back even while I am at university but I dont know where to go because my bank said no and I know wherever I ask they are going to assume I cannot pay them back.

what are bad credit student loan no cosigner ? is this helpful to to getting loans if people is bad credit history or poor credit history?

I went through a period two years ago where I was working fulltime but simply not earning enough, and I got several charge-offs that can be seen on a credit check. Together they total around 00, my current credit scores are transunion 644 Equifax 565 and Experian 673. My last late payment was well over a year ago.

I accept that I screwed up as I should have called my creditors and possibly worked something out until I had more money which I didn’t do. I could pay the past balances off at this point although I understand that it will still show that it was a charge-off and will not improve my score, although it may help me if the casino does a thorough check of my credit.

Anyway, I’m hoping to find someone knowledgeable on here, if I go to Casino School do I have a chance at getting a job with this poor credit history? I’m currently working overseas but would like to come back and ideally find a job in Lake Tahoe, California. Is this possible? Thanks.
Appreciate the answer Maggs, was getting worried this helps!

mortage advice with poor credit?

I am currently renting a property. For what I pay I may as well have a mortgage. I am currently in debt of around £8000 due to my own stupidity when I was younger. To pay this I have set up minimum interest free payments, this has obviously incurred defaults. I want to attempt getting a mortgage but dont want to waste anybodys time and look silly into the bargain if its not possible due to my very poor credit history. Does anybody have any ideas what my chances are. A 100% mortgage I know is impossible but what about a 75% mortgae. Would this be viable?

How can I get a car with poor credit?

I have a poor credit history, but have paid things up over the past few years and recently been accepted for a couple of high interest credit cards to help repair history. I have a well paid job and want a good car. I can afford the monthly repayments easily, but don’t think I would be accepted for credit through my bank or through a dealership.

Are there any other options?

Thanks in advance.
I already have an ok car, but beginning to cause problems to more than what the car is worth. fed up buying cheap cars with cash and want one on credit. Saving up is not an option as amount is about £7,000.
